Blended Brew came all the way from Denmark in search of a “Big American Record Deal” but it seems they only like to look the part.  They canceled their QsHouse appearance because they were too sick to even come in and talk and “wanted to rest up for their gig on Wednesday”

Having toured internationally as a performer myself, being well rested and in perfect health is a luxury. There were many times I wanted to sleep and rest but my tour manager pulled me up and made me keep my commitments. That is the true value of a tour manager.

Each QsHouse Radio Show is crafted around our featured emerging artists.  We don’t just ask them typical generic questions. Our goal is to make listeners feel they truly got to hang out with the band and fans and fellow musicians listening also get to learn a bit as well. When a band cancels and their manager can’t make them keep their commitments, it is not so easy to just get someone else. The research and writing involved makes it very difficult to replace on such short notice.  But it is the same research and writing that makes QsHouse such a unique and valuable experience for artists and fans alike.

I can say this week I graduated law school, hosted over a dozen friends and family, played tour guide, gracious host, appreciative friend, AND still managed to get in a few hours of studying for the bar exam – AND still managed to book, research, write, and promote a radio program. Goes to show there is a distinct difference between a professional and someone who just wants to look and act the part.
