Room Full of Strangers

Room Full of Strangers – We’re All Living the American Dream
By Xander Rich

Five guys wearing ski masks, leather jackets, captains hats and playing rock n’ roll.
How can you go wrong with that combo? This album features five songs that make Room Full of Strangers sound like you placed The Ramones, Poison and Nirvana in a blender, poured them into a musical glass and audibly dispensed them on the rock(s).

Producer Mark Kramer(Galaxie 500, Urge Overkill) adds excellent sound quality to the effort, and there’s also some DVD extras if you play the CD on your laptop or PC. “The Anonymous Fan”, though eccentric, is pretty unforgettable in the video portion.

‘Incognito” was my favorite track of the five, keeping my interest from beginning to end. Not my kind of music, nor is that genre really what I prefer, but they hold their own with the crowd that surrounds them. I’m still trying to get them to mail me a ski mask of my own. Chicks dig it, right?
